Vanity Fair/Instagram Moving Portraits

For the first time in Vanity Fair portrait studio history, photographer Douglass Friedman created “moving portraits” of the political and entertainment titans who attended the White House Correspondents Dinner after party.

Digital Cave was an intergral collaborator in this project, working closely with Douglass Friendman, Vanity Fair and Instagram to edit, color, and master these for Instagram.  Nicholas Kovacis was the lead editor and Matthew Rigger the senior colorist on this project, and using DaVinci Resolve, we turned around the videos in near real time.
